Thank you for your visiting our home page.
In our laboratory, we conduct research and development of precision, small robot systems.
We cover a wide range of areas, including design, analysis, processing, assembly, measurement, control, and automation.
Our laboratory, as of 2024, consists of one faculty member, five second-year master's students, five first-year master's students, four fourth-year undergraduate students, and three ROUTE students.
Our lab is actively recruiting graduate students (Master's and PhD) from both inside and outside the university.
We welcome motivated individuals interested in mobile robots, manipulators, and actuators, and those who want to enhance their skills through research activities.
Example themes: Wireless control of small robots, cooperative work by multiple small robots
If you are interested in working on mechanisms, electronic circuits, or programming, we encourage you to consider joining our lab.
For more details or if you wish to visit the lab, feel free to contact Associate Professor Fuchiwaki directly via email.
For those applying from within the university
Our lab accepts students from:
Undergraduate: "Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, Faculty of Engineering"
Graduate: "Department of Mechanical, Materials, and Ocean Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering" or "Institute for Advanced Practical Studies, Applied AI"
Please refer to our university's graduate admission website (Graduate School of Engineering or Institute for Advanced Practical Studies) for details about the graduate entrance exam.
For those applying from other universities
We welcome graduate students from other universities!
Lab visits are available year-round. If you are interested, please contact us at the email address below.
